My “Tallahassee Tart” lyric was inspired by my friend Caroline’s Halloween costume. A 60s inspired song, with electric guitars, piano, and harmonies.
Tallahassee Tart
Come on sisters
Light the fuse
Hit the streets
It’s time to cruise
Yeh girl
In my kickass boots
Gonna stand my ground
I’m a Tallahassee tart
And this is my side of town
Mop em up
Zip em up
Say bye bye
Rama lama ding dong
Ready for the next one
Don’t waste my time
Mr Five and Dime
You need big bucks for my kinda looks
So drive on by in your beat up truck
Honey, tough luck…
…I’m waitin’ on Mr Country Club
Mop em up
Zip em up
Say bye bye
Rama lama ding dong
Ready for the next one
Gonna go hard
Gonna go fast
Gonna go full throttle
With his champagne bottle
Nothin’ gonna stop me
I’m a Tallahassee tart
I can finish them off
Before they even start
And I charge em what I want
Cos honey, it’s an art
Mop em up
Zip em up
Say bye bye
Rama lama ding dong
Ready for the next one
Mop em up
Zip em up
Say bye bye
Rama lama ding dong
Ready for the next one
I’m a Tallahassee tart standing my ground
In my kickass boots this is my side of town
Yeh,
This is my side of town
