

There are some beautiful colours in the dying leaves.


These little petunias were visitors. I didn’t plant them, but they showed up in a pot.

New roots and shoots on my papyrus cuttings.

Apparently this is how you propagate papyrus plants. Cut the leaves short and sit the stalks upside down in water until the roots grow.

I love this little parrot. It’s vintage Tonala pottery from Jalisco, Mexico. I think it’s a Carlos Villanueva piece. He’s sitting in a Tlaquepaque casserole dish – which is serving as a bird bath in my tiny garden.
