I’ve been working on my Christmas card for 2019 and getting all nostalgic about the town where my first memories were formed, Knaresborough.
Hopefully when the card is finished the robin will be perched on the outside of a window with a wintry view of Knaresborough behind. I’m going to add the words “robins appear when loved ones are near.” It’s a common belief that little robins are lost loved ones paying us a visit. I like that idea.

After almost 20 years in the mountains I have moved to the beach, Pawleys Island SC. I’m missing the mountains more than I ever thought I would – but there’s so much for me to discover here along the coast.
